The lights have been placed around the perimeters of Victoria Park and Mason Avenue
Solar lighting has been installed around two parks in Leamington Spa to help improve safety at night.
The lights, which get brighter as people approach them and dim as they walk away, have been placed around the perimeters of Victoria Park and Mason Avenue following feedback from park users.
Warwickshire District Council said the new lighting had been funded by the authority's allocation of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and aimed to provide a "safe through-route" for those walking at night
Councillor Jim Sinnott, portfolio holder for Safer, Healthier and Active Communities added the solar lights struck a balance between keeping people safe and protecting the parks' biodiversity.
Column lighting, which automatically switches off at 22:00 BST, has also been installed at the skatepark in Victoria Park to provide a safe space for young people in the evening.
Sinnott added that lighting was "sympathetic to the wildlife and local residents".
