An 89-year-old World War II veteran has appealed for help after losing his medals in Armistice week.
Fred Emeney said the five medals he was awarded for service in Africa, Italy and Greece, could have fallen off his jacket in Wyken, Coventry.
He said he did not think they had a high monetary value but they were irreplaceable to him.
Mr Emeney said he had them down in his will to be passed to his grandson and hoped they would stay in the family.
Anyone with information about the medals should contact West Midlands Police.
