Man dies after warehouse accident in Nuneaton

An investigation is under way after a man died following an accident at a warehouse in Warwickshire.



Marcin Rogala, 29, died after an incident at Ralph Coleman International on the Bermuda Industrial estate, in Gresham Road, Nuneaton.

He was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries on Tuesday after it was believed he was struck by wooden pallets, the ambulance service said.

Another man suffered serious arm injuries in the incident.

The accident was being investigated by police and the Health and Safety Executive.

A spokesman for the firm said: "The management and staff at Ralph Coleman International Limited are very saddened by the death of Marcin Rogala and our thoughts are, of course, with his family and friends at this time."

He added the health and safety of staff was of "paramount importance to the company" and it was co-operating fully with the investigations.
