Police were called to the incident on George Robertson Close
A man was taken to hospital after being slashed during an incident in Coventry, police have said. Officers were called to George Robertson Close shortly before 11pm on Saturday September 10.
An unnamed man was found at the scene with a slash wound to his arm. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed that the man did not wish to pursue a complaint. No arrests have been made.
Paramedics rushed to the scene. Crews were stood down on arrival as no patients were found.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Officers responded to reports of a stabbing in George Robertson Close on Saturday evening. The victim was treated in hospital for a slash wound to his arm. He did not wish to pursue a complaint. No arrests have been made.”
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10.53pm to reports of an incident on George Robertson Close in Coventry. One ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended. After our arrival, we were stood down as no patients were found.”
