Police confirm Tile Hill van fire was arson and launch investigation

West Midlands Police (WMP) are treating a van fire in Coventry as an arson attack. The vehicle was engulfed in flames in the early hours of yesterday morning (April 28).

West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) were called out to Robert Cramb Avenue, Tile Hill, at around 4am. Five firefighters and one engine was dispatched from Canley Station to the fire, which was started deliberately.

Crews attended within five minutes wearing breathing apparatus and extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet. And now, WMP have confirmed it was arson.
