A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man's body was found at a house in Nuneaton.

Police have revealed today, Monday, August 2, that emergency services rushed to an address in Wenlock Court over concerns for people inside the property on Thursday, July 29.

"On arrival the body of a male was found," a Warwickshire Police spokesperson said.

"A 34-year-old woman from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of murder.

"At this time, police believe the incident was contained to the property and there was no known wider risk to the community."

The suspect has been bailed while enquiries continue.

Anyone with any information about the incident, which happened at about 6.30pm on July 29, is asked to call police on 101 and quote log 319 of 29/7.
