COVENTRY and Warwickshire councils say they’re ready for snow.

The AA warned this week that more than half of local councils have only enough salt to survive six days of continuous bad weather.

But with snow and ice forecast for the next three days, highways departments at Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County Council say they’re stocked up and ready to go.

Yeah, right. Never heard that one before

My sentiments exactly Dutchy. With all the planning in the world - no council is ever 'ready' when it comes to it.

We had snow for about 2 hrs. this afternoon but it didn't settle.
