A plea has been made for them to be handed back in



Heartless thieves have stolen £20,000 worth of equipment from a Nuneaton school.

They struck at Michael Drayton School overnight, prompting a plea from the school for whoever took them to return the stolen goods.

A post on The Woodlands-based school's page on Facebook said: "In the early hours of this morning we had a major break-in where over 40 iPads were stolen: £20,000 worth of our pupils' learning aids robbed.

"Sadly, the evidence points to the fact that the offender knew exactly where they were stored and how to access them."

It goes on to add: "Our iPad provider has remotely disabled our devices. They will be useless to whoever has them.

"Therefore I request an iPad amnesty, we want them returned so our pupils can fulfil their learning experiences without delay."

A plea was also made to anyone with any information to contact Warwickshire Police.

I'm amazed they could afford to spend £20,000 on iPads in the first place when they're forever pleading poverty?
