The occupants fled the scene
Police are trying to trace the driver of a car suspected to have been "street racing" when it crashed into a tree in Cheylesmore.
The occupants fled the scene after the crash in Dillotford Avenue on Saturday (June 22).
Police revealed that they were called to the scene of the collision at around 1.40pm.
And according to the North West Coventry Police Twitter account, there are reports suggesting that the car "may have been involved in street racing".
What's more, they also revealed that the vehicle shows no insurance, tax or MOT.
West Midlands Police have confirmed that they are making enquiries into the incident, including tracing the owner of the vehicle.
They have issued an appeal for anyone with information after the incident, which took place at around 1.40pm on Saturday June 22.
