Van-jacking victim was Amazon delivery driver

The man still fighting for his life after trying to stop callous robbers stealing his van was delivering parcels for Amazon when the horrific incident occurred.

Named as Oleg Madan, he remains in intensive care after being thrown from the van as the robbers sped off with him clinging to the windscreen on Monday (November 19) afternoon.

Mr Madan had been desperately trying to stop the thieves from taking the van, loaded with his Amazon deliveries for the day.

Police are still hunting for the robbers, while his colleagues have also put out calls for information to find those responsible for his life-threatening injuries.

His colleagues say he is still in intensive care in a coma, with his family by his side.

A spokesman for NGC Logistics, the third party company Mr Madan was employed by, confirmed he was delivering parcels for Amazon at the time of the incident.

They added: "This was a terrible incident and our thoughts are with the driver and his family.

"We encourage anyone who saw what happened to contact the police."

A spokesman for Amazon added: "Our thoughts are with the driver and his loved ones"

Yeah, right! They'll bill him for the missing parcels like they've done in the past! :fuming:
