The Coventry Viva! Vegan Festival will take place around the old and new Coventry Cathedrals in August
A festival of vegan food will fill Coventry Cathedral in August, with plenty of dishes, information and talks focused on a vegan diet.
The Coventry Viva! Vegan Festival, run by Bristol based charity Viva!, will take place around the old and new Coventry Cathedrals, on Saturday 4 August 2018 – 10.30am to 5pm.
80 stalls will give the charity its second annual event in Coventry, and the organising team hopes for over 3000 visitors.
Informative talks on a meat-free diet and delicious vegan food – including Coventry’s own The Green Unicorn, Lottie’s Vegan Bakery and Home Vegan Kitchen, as well as books, information and campaigns to leave festival-goers full of food and ideas.
Juliet Gellatley, Viva! Director said: “Interest in veganism has continued to soar globally and shows no signs of slowing down. Viva!’s vegan festivals are a fantastic way of bringing people together and showcasing the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. Regardless of dietary choices we want everyone to come along and see just how wonderful vegan food can be.”
