Arson attacks at allotment site

Security improvements at a Coventry city centre allotment are being called for in a bid to stop vandals setting fire to sheds.

Plot holders claim 11 sheds have been destroyed at the council-owned Brownshill Green site in Keresley, during the past two weeks.

Bablake councillor Glenn Williams said the lack of CCTV and lighting at the allotments is a problem but the council are hopeful of getting some extra security at the site.

A "lack of security" isn't the problem, a lack of law enforcement is the problem! :fuming:

Yes your right Dutchman nothing ever gets done with police when I had two allotments on the Radford Rd/Threespires Avenue men s sheds were damaged and equipment stolen.
