The lorry was the first of two HGVs to crash into the same bridge in one day
A lorry full of flammable aerosol cans burst into flames after crashing into a railway bridge.
The dramatic incident happened in the early hours of Saturday on the A5 between Nuneaton and Hinckley.
The road was closed for several hours, and had only re-opened for half an hour when another lorry hit the same bridge.
It is thought some of the aerosols in the lorry were damaged in the first collision, leading to multiple explosions on board.
The fire quickly spread to the entire trailer, leaving charred debris spread across the carriageway.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue were on scene to put out the fire and worked through the morning to clear up the mess left behind.
Specialist recovery crew RS Recovery also helped clear the load and get the carriageway clear.
