Mystery of man found injured in Radford leads to police investigation

The man was found during rush hour today

Police have launched an investigation after a man was found with injuries on a Coventry road during rush hour.

West Midlands Police said it was too early to establish exactly what had happened following the incident at about 5.30pm in Radford today.

Police and ambulance staff rushed to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Police are investigating after a man was found with injuries in Chester Street, Coventry this evening.

“Officers were called to the area at 5.30pm. The man has been taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

“Local officers are in the area at the moment while enquiries are on-going to establish what happened.”
