Police are appealing for information on the burglaries in Cheylesmore and Tile Hill

Police in Coventry are investigating two burglaries that saw the culprits break in through ground floor windows.

Officers were called to a home in Leaf Lane, Cheylesmore, earlier today after burglars stole electronic items and cash in the early hours.

The break-in is believed to have happened at some point between 1am and 6am.

It comes just two days after another burglary in Standard Avenue, Tile Hill, which was reported to West Midlands Police at 8.30am on Sunday.

Entry was again gained through a ground floor window and a number of items were stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
