Nicholas Wright to sign sex offenders' register indefinitely after admitting assault and making indecent images

A man who sexually assaulted a girl under the age of 13 has been jailed for three years.

Nicholas Wright, 47, of Watercall Avenue, Styvechale, Coventry, was also ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register indefinitely after admitting the offence from August last year.

He also pleaded guilty to making and distributing a total of 193 indecent images of children.

The images varied from category A - the worst kind - to category C.

Wright made 69 of them, took 104 of them and distributed 20 of them between January 2015 and October 2015.

He was sentenced at Warwick Crown Court on June 16 and is now serving three years behind bars, as well as being ordered to pay a £120 victim surcharge.
