Smash on Beake Avenue saw West Midlands Fire Service remove car's roof
A woman was cut free from a car after a collision with another vehicle this afternoon in Radford.
Police were called at 2.02pm to a crash on Beake Avenue involving a Renault Megane and Vauxhall Astra.
The woman suffered suspected spinal injuries and was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
West Midlands Fire Service was in attendance with two units dispatched to the scene.
They carried out a full roof removal so they could free the female driver of the Renault Megane.
The driver of the second car, a Vauxhall Astra, was not injured.
Police diverted traffic while the road was shut off for recovery work to take place.
