Coventry's new Pure Gym ready to open for the new year

The centre is the second Pure Gym in Coventry with one already open at the Skydome



Pure Gym has opened its doors in Bishop Street, in the city centre, for potential users to cast their eye over the new-look facility ahead of its full opening on January 6.

There are more than 220 pieces of equipment including free weights, resistance machines and CV machines, as well as weekly fitness classes at the gym, which now partners the other Pure Gym in Coventry, based at the Skydome.

The creation of the gym has provided 20 new jobs for the city and comes at the same time that the finishing touches are being put to the new JD Sports gym business at the Belgrade Plaza.

The £1.5million centre, which is the firm’s biggest to be built yet, will open in the new year and has also created 20 jobs.
