Police hunt masked gang after Brinklow man attacked

A man suffered a suspected fractured skull after confronting masked intruders by his work van during the middle of an afternoon.

He was attacked outside his home in Walkers Terrace, Brinklow, near Coventry, at 1500 BST on Sunday.

Warwickshire Police said the men, who all wore balaclavas, sped off in a black Ford Focus towards Ansty.

The 62-year-old victim is in a critical condition. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
