The Queen’s double turned the opening of LloydsPharmacy’s Jubilee Crescent store in Coventry into a right royal occasion.

Customers did a double take when Jeanette Vane, who looks amazingly like the Queen, arrived to cut the ribbon at the pharmacy in Radford at the store’s jubilee-themed opening party.

Jeanette accepted the ‘royal engagement’ to help jubilant staff celebrate the transformation of the store in Jubilee Crescent.

Loyal customer Thomas Hardiman, 79, helped the Queen do the honours.

A string trio were also on hand to entertain customers at the opening ceremony, by playing an array of traditionally British songs, marking the launch of a new concept in pharmacy.

The Jubilee Crescent team is one of the first in the UK to offer LloydsPharmacy’s new approach to community health, which has been developed to improve access to healthcare information and support.
