A British robber was arrested after hairdressers at the salon he targeted recognized him as a frequent customer, authorities said.
James Tonkin, 22, who pleaded guilty to robbery in Hull Crown Court, ran off with a tip jar from the Hull, England, shop and one of the three hairdressers who grappled with him during the incident recognized him from the several haircuts she had give him, The Sun reported Tuesday.
Tonkin was picked up by police and charged with robbery. He was sentenced to four years in jail.
