Council contractors have been working to clear a brook which they feared could flood a cemetery.
The threatened cemetery as viewed from the airThe brook runs through Nuneaton Common to the back of a cemetery on Bucks Hill in the Warwickshire town.
It had become filled with tyres, branches, rocks and other debris in the past few years, Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council said.
The authority said the brook would be cleared regularly and asked visitors to report any blockages.
