			Police are appealing for the driver of a white or silver vehicle who may have witnessed an assault at approximately 8pm on Monday 24 January 2011 in St Peters Road, Rugby to please come forward and contact officers.
The vehicle is believed to have driven past at around the time a fifteen year old female was assaulted by a group of four or five unknown males in St Peters Road. The group are believed to have dragged her into a hedge halfway down the road on the opposite side from the houses and assaulted her before stealing cigarettes and a small amount of cash that had fallen from her pockets.
The female suffered cuts and bruises
A passer by stopped and took the girl home.
