A Man was taken to hospital after a three-car crash in Coventry yesterday evening (Tue).
The male, who is in his mid-40s, was extricated from the Ford Mondeo he was driving after it collided with two other vehicles - a hackney carriage taxi and an off-road vehicle - in Chapelfields.
Two crews from Radford fire station were called to the scene at the junction of Oldfield Road and Billing Road at 7.20pm.
Watch commander Alex Daw, of Radford station, said they arrived two find the drivers of the other two vehicles had already escaped and firefighters used cutting gear to pull the casualty from the wreckage.
He complained of neck pain and ambulance crews arrived to take him to hospital.
