Masked gang armed with sword steal cash from Ash Green pub

Masked men forced their way into an Ash Green pub before stealing a safe and escaping.



The three men, who were believed to be armed with a hammer and a sword, targeted The Bull and Anchor, in Wheelwright Lane, at 12.30am on Friday.

They forced their way in through a rear fire door, threatened staff and stole a till as well as the safe, before escaping in a silver estate car.

Police are conducting door to door enquiries as well as inspecting CCTV footage but they are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information about it.
