My garden still looks very green, but at least the dog hasn't turned it brown by digging everything up.

Rebbonk when one of my old large gardens had green grass my dog use to watch where I planted any new boarder plant then it would dig it up soon as I disappeard out of sight. Thank you.

The current dog, whilst boisterous, doesn't do any real damage to the garden. Though I have seen him snatch at daffodils and mint in the past.
But a few years back we had a German Shepherd who left us nothing but a mud bowl when he was young. The little s*d would also 'help' with garden tending, and that drove the Mrs mad.

Perhaps your dog being a mountain dog is the reason why if I recall right you have a Japanese Akita. Quite a few flowers and plants are edible mint is good for the stomach I would imagine its the dancing of the Daffodils that attracts your dog to snap the heads off.
Yep mine was a German Sheperd so I can understand your wife going mad .

Awe he s lovely like a teddy bear lovely photo a blonde lady passes my house walking one most days.
I was reading in the news today the dog fashion of certain dogs are changing swopping them for small lap dogs neck brakers I call them as they are easy to trip over and brake your neck give me a big dog any day. I personally dont do fashion not even in clothe s.

I think I know the lady you mean. There's a few Akitas round here, but most of them are the American variety, which makes them slightly bigger than mine. When I first had him he was hopeless around people and dogs. He's great around people now, but can still be troublesome with other dogs. There's a lady walks a couple of Belgian shepherds and he hates them with a real vengeance. To be fair, they started the aggression when I first had him, but even though they no longer do it, he hasn't forgotten. He also despises Staffies. - I have no idea why.
He's a real looker (and he knows it) and attracts attention (particularly from the ladies) wherever he goes. I often joke to the barmaid in the local that he's off 'on the pull' again. Seriously, if the good lady was the jealous type I'd often be in real hot water.
