Georgina Hale once complained that she only ever appeared in four episodes but has been known as "Budgie's Missus" ever since!

I always had a thing about Lynn Dalby

Lynn of course played Budgie's long-suffering girlfriend in all but four episodes as opposed to Georgina who only occasionally played his estranged wife.

I'm more of a Georgina Hale guy myself. I think she played one episode with her arse hanging out of her kitchen apron which may have helped?

Ray Davies original - I believe the song featured on the Muswell Hillbillies album by The Kinks. The version on Budgie the TV series was credited to a group called Cold Turkey which Davies was allegedly behind.
