Lucy also was in Ziegfield Follies. She is on the first horse and with the whip.

She never did much good in colour as it clashed with her "dumb blonde" routine. Black and white TV revived her career.

My dad insisted on calling it "I Love Lucy" which used to drive me up the wall, never having seen the earlier series. :fuming:

It was the other way around Melisandre :smile:

I Love Lucy ran from 1951 to 1957, The Lucy Show ran from 62-68 with all but the earliest seasons shot in colour. :ugeek:

Never knew till now she wasn't a real redhead! :clown:

She dyed it red for a movie in 1942 and stayed with that till she died.

She was born a brunette and earlier bleached her hair blonde when she first got a job in showbusiness.

Yes and she looked better with her natural colour imo as the saying goes men prefer blondes and red heads so she would likely went blonde to continue to get work .
