I clearly remember the start, William.......What's-his-name, having a supper, comprising a huge wedge of Cheddar cheese and some bread, and he took one bite out of the cheese, and then was off..... What a waste!! What a load of old codswallop, but didn't we love it, eh? ;)

Having checked IMDb, it says Ivanhoe was Roger Moore, yet I don't recall Roger in the part. I think it was William Russell.....?

That was Lancelot, Spuffler and I always get those two series mixed up as well ! :oops:

Oh blimey, I'd forgotten that one!! We were really fed a load of rubbish weren't we? And we lapped it all up voraciously!! I don't think Sir Lancelot lasted very long, did it?

A single winter series of 30 episodes of which half were shot in colour:
