Reminded me of when the MOD ordered flooring tiles for a large floor area. The idea was to create a herring bone pattern from grey and terra cotta tiles. Problem was that one colour was ordered in Imperial measurement and the other Metric. The tilers started the job with enthusiasm but as work progressed so did their misery. I left there but was recalled a few months later and the floor was all one colour and a huge stack of unwanted tiles left outside.
