Boost your Destiny character to level 25 for £25

There's good news and bad news for fans of Destiny. You can now boost a character to level 25... but it'll cost you 25 quid.



Available for all three character classes, these boost packs are the same as the one that was included in The Taken King expansion, except, you know, they cost £24.99.

Level 25 is the minimum level you need to be to start the aforementioned expansion, so it's clearly aimed at players who are sick of the base game and want to jump straight into the new stuff with multiple characters.

So Destiny veterans now have the opportunity to spend £25 to not play a game they've already paid around £80 for.

It doesn't seem like the best deal when you put it like that, though the expansion and the base game are much cheaper these days. Whether that justifies the high price is a different matter entirely.

This follows the news that the recently added Sparrow Racing League contained microtransactions. Gotta get those Destiny 2 funds.
