Despite a 40% drop in sales, EA's latest Battlefield game remains top above GTA 5, which benefits from a 35% increase in sales.

PS4 exclusive Bloodborne drops down to third, above FIFA 15, Far Cry 4, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection.

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is this week's second highest new entry at eight, and From Software's second game in the top ten.

Elsewhere, The Sims 4: Get to Work makes its chart debut at 18, above The Order 1886 and a returning Pokemon White Version 2.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS fails to make the top 20. The New 3DS exclusive debuts at 27.
