FIFA 14 crowned Christmas number one game

FIFA 14 has been crowned Christmas number one in the all format sales charts.



The football title saw a surge in sales to beat last week's best-seller Call of Duty: Ghosts to the top spot.

It's the first time since 2007 that EA and FIFA have had a Christmas number one, which has been dominated by Call of Duty in previous years.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag jumped two places to third after retailer-led price promotions for the Xbox 360 and PS3 editions.

Elsewhere, Grand Theft Auto V moved from eighth to sixth place, while Killzone: Shadow Fall and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition saw small sales spikes to enter the top ten.
