'Modern Warfare 3' Content Collection #1 dated for PC

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 has been given a release date for PC.



The update, which makes the existing Call of Duty: Elite DLC available to all users, will land on the platform on May 8.

Content Collection #1 includes four new multiplayer maps and two new Spec Ops missions. It was released for Xbox 360 in January and March, before hitting PlayStation 3 in April.

The multiplayer maps consist of Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box. Elite premium subscribers saw the release of Liberation and Piazza in January, while Overwatch was released in February and Black Box arrived earlier this month.

Spec Ops missions Black Ice and Negotiator will take players snowmobiling to infiltrate a diamond mine and extracting hostages in India.

This week, Call of Duty: Black Ops II was outed as the next entry in the military shooter series.
