LittleBigPlanet 2 is top of UK game chart

There’s a new game at the top of the all-format UK game chart this week, knocking Call of Duty: Black Ops down to number two.



And the game in question is Sony’s LittleBigPlanet 2, which in its first week sold almost exactly the same amount as the original game back in 2008. However, the original only managed number four in the charts.

Just Dance 2 holds at number three, followed by Fifa 11 at number four, and then Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

Wii Fit Plus is still doing well with new year fitness drives at number six, and Mass Effect 2 is a new entry at seven with the release of the PS3 version of the RPG.

Kinect Sports is still in the top ten at number eight, followed by Gran Turismo 5 which just holds off Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit at number ten.
