Speedball 2 HD has been given a release date.
The high-definition remake of the classic sports game arrives on December 5 for PC.
"Speedball 2 HD is a faithful remake of the original futuristic cybersports game," said game designer Mike Montgomery.
"It is as arresting and enjoyable as ever and we've added some cool updates to allow today's gamers to connect with it on their favourite platforms."
Developed by Vivid Games and directed by John Hare, the upcoming game features over 330 unique players, new formations and six brand-new arenas.
Speedball 2 HD will be available on Steam for $9.99/€7.99/£6.99.
Another updated version of the original game - titled Speedball 2: Evolution - was released in 2011 for iOS devices.
