Two new 'Sims 3' expansion packs announced...

The Sims 3 is to have two new expansion packs, it has been confirmed.



Earlier today (July 23), EA revealed that 'Movie Stuff' and 'Into the Future' would be arriving in stores this autumn.

The PC format of 'Into the Future' currently has a release date of October 25 this year, while 'Movie Stuff' is set to be released on September 13, according to the EA press website.

With 'Movie Stuff', players will be able to play with themes including 'Western', 'Comic Book Blockbuster' and 'Creepy Features'.

Meanwhile, with 'Into the Future', Sims "can explore the world of tomorrow, meet their descendants, master the technology of the future, like hoverboards, jetpacks and food synthesisers and more".

An official statement on the game continues: "Have your fun, but be prepared for the consequences. Your Sims actions in the present will have surprising effects on the future."
