Kasbah Nightclub will be hosting the 'Ultimate Work event' after allegations the Prime Minister attended parties during the heights of the coronavirus lockdowns.

The Coventry venue has described it as 'the biggest party in the UK since the Downing Street sessions.'

Happening on Monday, January 24, party-goers will be able to get their hands on free Boris Johnson masks, and those dressed as Boris Johnson will also gain free entry into the venue.

And the first 100 attendees will get free cheese and wine, just like a Downing Street party.

Doors open at 10 pm and admission is just £5.

But, the nightclub has urged those attending to bear the following in mind:

Kasbah Nightclub said: "[It is a] work event and definitely not a party, but no need to bring your own booze because we sell it even though this is not a party. It's a work event. Could be a party? We don't think it's a party. It's a party."

They will also be having special offers on drinks all night long.

  • Jager Bombs: £1.50
  • VKs: £2
  • Bottles: £1.20
  • House Spirits: £1.20
Katie Eaves, Promotions and Events Manager at Kashbah Nightclub, said: "After hearing the news of the Downing Street parties, it was a real kick in the teeth for the hospitality industry, especially after having to remain closed for such a long time while these parties happened. Rather than getting a bee in our bonnet, we'll be dealing with the news in true Kasbah style!

"We'll be dishing out plenty of cheese and wine for the first 100 people in keeping with a true Downing St ‘work event’ and handing out Boris masks to all in the venue plus offering free entry to anyone dressed as Boris on the night. We have also contacted the Guinness World Records to see what the current record for 'most people dressed as Boris Johnson in one place' stands at, as we plan an attempt to beat this!"
