Professor Green has said that he is happy Lily Allen has announced her pregnancy because he no longer has to lie about it.
The rapper, who collaborated with Allen on his recent hit 'Just Be Good To Green', claimed that he had known about the singer's pregnancy since June.
Green told The Sun about the announcement: "Obviously it's a great weight off her shoulders but it's also a great weight off mine too.
"I have known since Glastonbury and I was being asked why Lily kept letting me down and I was saying, 'She's not very well at the moment', which wasn't quite true."
He added that he was pleased Allen could perform at last weekend's Big Chill festival despite suffering from morning sickness.
"I was ribbing her a little bit, saying she needed a sick bucket by the mic stand, but she's alright. She just seems really happy," he said.
Asked if he would be the best man at a wedding between Allen and her boyfriend Sam Cooper, Green quipped: "That would be Sam's choice. Maybe I'll be the bridesmaid!"
Well yes him and anybody who saw the video they made together in which she lurched around in a tent dress!
