The last train back to Nuneaton is just after the headliners start - and includes a diversion
No extra direct train services are being put on to bring revellers back to Nuneaton from the Godiva Festival in Coventry.
Concerns were raised on social media that no later trains had been added onto the timetable between the city and Nuneaton for all those travelling to the festival this weekend.
One reveller fumed on Facebook about the lack of later trains and also the fact that the very last train service includes a diversion via Birmingham.
The last train tonight (July 6) , from Coventry to Nuneaton, is 9.36pm despite the headliners Feeder not set to start their set until 9.15pm.
The train is also scheduled to take 1hr and 15 minutes to get back to Nuneaton Railway Station - despite the direct journey taking just over 20 minutes.
West Midlands Trains said, in a tweet, that that was the last scheduled train for this evening (July 6) and no others had been planned.
The last direct train from Coventry to Nuneaton is 9.17pm.
Tomorrow night (July 7), the last train from Coventry to Nuneaton is 9.32pm, however, headliners Busted are due to take to the stage at 5.45pm.
