Portugal have won Eurovision 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine, with Salvador Sobral and his ballad 'Amar Pelos Dois' walking away with the most points
Salvador scored 758 points in total, taking in 382 in the jury vote and 376 in the popular vote, ahead of runners-up Bulgaria.
Bulgaria took 615 points in total, with 278 points in the jury vote and 337 points in the popular vote. Moldova came third with to 374 points in total.
It was looking good for Portugal early on, with the country quickly taking a lead after raking in the points in the jury vote to become the clear frontrunners.
Amazingly, Portugal has never won Eurovision before, so Salvador was clearly pleased when he took the mic for his acceptance speech.
"I want to say that we live in a world of disposable music – fast food music without any content. And I think this could be a victory for music with people that make music that actually means something," he said.
"Music is not fireworks, music is feeling – so let's try to change this and bring music back, which is really what matters."
He then performed the song again, this time with his sister Luisa – who had penned it for him.
