Drake's only gone and scored his very own number one single.

It's taken him long enough, but the Canadian rapper has finally topped the UK charts for the first time with his own track thanks to 'One Dance' hitting 72,000 sales.

Drizzy previously topped the charts on Rihanna's single 'What's My Name?' back in 2011.

'One Dance', which features Wizkid and Filipino singer Kyla, just so happens to be the first number one of the year to feature a female.

Elsewhere, Sia is at two with 'Cheap Thrills' while Mike Posner slips two places to three with 'I Took a Pill In Ibiza', Fifth Harmony drop to four with 'Work from Home', and Zara Larsson completes the Top 5 with 'Lush Life'.

Joe Jonas's group DNCE break the Top 10 with 'Cake by the Ocean' hopping two places to nine, as Meghan Trainor's 'No' leaps 12 places to 11 thanks to her performance on The Voice UK and Graham Norton's show.

Speaking of The Voice UK, this year's winner, former Liberty X star Kevin Simm, debuts at 24 with his first solo single 'All You Good Friends'.

Finally, Years & Years climb 19 places to 27 with 'Desire' after releasing a new version of the track featuring Tove Lo.
