The East London rapper, whose real name is Ben Drew, climbed from last week's position at number three to beat three strong new entries. The 26-year-old won the chart race a fortnight ago. His 2006 debut, Who Needs Actions When You Got Words, only peaked at number 30.

Usher debuted in second place with his sixth studio album Raymond V. Raymond, despite leading the race in the midweeks. His previous three albums 8701, Confessions and Here I Stand all reached the top spot in 2001, 2004 and 2008 respectively.

The Glee cast's Madonna tribute debuted at number four, but didn't manage to overcome AC/DC's soundtrack album Iron Man 2, which fell two places from its pole position last week.

Meanwhile, Bullet For My Valentine's third album arrived at number five, with Fever ahead of Paul Weller's Wake Up The Nation, which slid four places.

Entering the chart at number nine, the eponymous new album from Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends just lost out to Scouting For Girls, whose second LP 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV' finished in eighth place.

Paolo Nutini's Sunny Side Up also mustered a top ten position, unlike Florence and the Machine, who settled for number 11 with Lungs.

Justin Bieber's My Worlds dropped four places to 14, while veteran rocker Meat Loaf descended even further, going down nine places from fourth to 13 with Hang Cool Teddy Bear
