Jess Glynne has claimed her first ever UK number one solo single with 'Hold My Hand'.

The track debuts in the top spot with chart sales of over 97,000, making it the singer's third number one single in total.

Glynne previously topped the charts with Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' and Route 94's 'My Love'.

She said: "As amazing as the other two felt, the feeling I have with this is on another level. To get a number one in my own name is one of the most insane feelings."

James Bay's 'Hold Back the River' climbs to number two, while 'King' by Years & Years moves to three.

'FourFiveSeconds' by Rihanna, Paul McCartney and Kanye West falls to number four, as Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do' remains at number five.

Last week's number one 'Lay Me Down' by Sam Smith and John Legend is at number six, as Sigma and Labrinth's 'Higher' debuts at 12.

Rihanna's 'Bitch Better Have My Money' lands at number 29 after being on sale for just two days, while 'Lamborghini' by KSI featuring P Money is at 30.
