The group ended Lady GaGa and Beyoncé's two-week reign at the top of the UK charts. Speaking on Radio 1, the band said they were "chuffed to bits" about the news.

Elsewhere in the chart, Plan B went straight in at number three with 'She Said', while Usher and will.i.am climbed into the top ten, jumping five places to number eight with 'OMG'.

Meanwhile, Delirious? reached number four with their single 'History Makers' following a Facebook campaign which urged people to make a Christian group number one on Easter Sunday.

However, Ellie Goulding slipped out of the top ten as 'Starry Eyed' fell five places to number 12. Jason Derulo's 'In My Head' dropped three spots to number 12, while Young Money moved down from number nine to number 19 with 'Bedrock'.
