Lady GaGa has revealed that she wrote some of her "greatest" music in Liverpool.
The 'Telephone' singer explained that she wrote the first single from her next album while in the city.
"I've already written the first single for the new album and I promise you that this album is the greatest of my career," she told fansite Gagadaily.com.
"It is the anthem for our generation. I wrote it for you, because of you, when I was in Liverpool I wrote the greatest music I've ever written."
GaGa added that she has already picked the title for her next record, explaining: "Your love is my inspiration and the new album is for you. I'll come back soon and announce the album title, I don't want to spoil it yet."
Earlier this week, reports suggested that GaGa has been approached to perform the next James Bond theme.
