Miley Cyrus has landed her second UK number one single with 'Wrecking Ball'.

Following 'We Can't Stop' earlier this year, the singer's latest track entered straight at the top of the pile, while her new album Bangerz has also hit number one in the UK album charts.

"I truly appreciate the love I'm getting from the UK," Cyrus told the Official Charts Company. "Not only is this my second number one single, but even more amazing is my album has also gone in at number one! I can't wait to be back in the UK next month."

Eminem achieves his 20th UK Top 10 hit as a lead artist at two with new track 'Berzerk'. OneRepublic slip two from last week's top spot to three with 'Counting Stars'.

Conor Maynard lands at four with 'R U Crazy', followed by The Saturdays' new single 'Disco Love' at five.

James Blunt scores his first Top 10 hit in six years with 'Bonfire Heart' at six. Katy Perry dips three to seven with 'Roar', and Jason Derulo dips five to eight with 'Talk Dirty'.

John Newman enters at nine with his latest single 'Cheating'. The Vamps tumble eight spots to 10 with 'Can We Dance'.

Justin Bieber's latest track 'Heartbreaker' is new at 14, while Norwegian duo Ylvis leap 22 places to 24 with 'The Fox'.
