N-Dubz star Dappy playing special Coventry gig

DAPPY from hip hop group N-Dubz is set to come to Coventry for a special gig at JJs nightclub.

The rapper will perform his “biggest and latest hits” at the Skydome venue on March 30 and organisers are expecting a sell-out.

The 25-year-old from Camden is the lead singer of N-Dubz - alongside Fazer and Tulisa Contostavlos - which broke on to the music scene in 2008 and has a built up a big following among young music fans.

Tulisa has gone on to star as one of the judges on Simon Cowell’s X-Factor talent show.

DJ Robbie James, who has helped to organise the JJs event, said: “Basically we signed a new contract with an agency and as part of our new contract with an agency and as part of this we get a few A-listers performing here along the way.

“We started our Gossip night on Saturdays and the idea behind it is not just to run it as a club but to put regular events on as well. This is definitely going to be a sell out and we’ve sold quite a few tickets online already.

"It’s looking like it will be a huge night.”
