The American superstar, who has sold over 120million albums, will play the home of the Sky Blues on Thursday June 20.

And news of The Boss’s concert represents a massive coup for the stadium, which has previously hosted the likes of Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Rod Stewart, Take That and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The Ricoh is one of four UK venues, alongside Wembley Stadium, Hampden Park and King’s Hall, Belfast, on a list of 17 new dates announced for the European leg of the Wrecking Ball tour to showcase the latest album from Springsteen and the E Street Band.

It has already clocked up over 80 shows in 17 countries, confirming Springsteen’s status as one of rock’s biggest draws.

Tickets for the Ricoh show are priced from £55 plus booking fees and will go on sale at 9am on Friday, December 7 from http://www.theticketfactory.com / 0844 338 0338 or in person from the arena box office.

It might not be by the time he plays!
