Florence + The Machine to play Coventry Ricoh Arena

Chart-topping Florence + The Machine have confirmed a date at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.



Tickets for the Jaguar Hall concert on December 8 go on sale on Friday.

The band’s multi award-winning debut album Lungs was one of the best selling albums of 2009 and 2010 and stayed in the UK’s Top 40 for a remarkable 65 successive weeks.

The festival favourites, led by Florence Welch, also saw their current album Ceremonials shoot straight to number one in the charts.

Ricoh marketing manager Liz Cooper said they were "proud" to secure another big name band for the venue.

Other dates on the December tour are: Exeter, Westpoint Arena (4), London, O2 Arena (5), Aberdeen, AECC (9), Liverpool, Echo Arena (10), Dublin, O2 Arena (12).
